Why would a guy who has known for a long time that he has nothing to say to anyone about anything suddenly up and start a blog?
It’s a fair question, and one to which I have no answer.
Nonetheless, that’s what I’ve done, and I invite you to have a look.
The four posts under the Music heading (on the Grosse Fuge, and starting July 11) were the initial impetus.
I am fighting the nagging feeling that the whole enterprise may be purely solipsistic.
