A mother is mystified by some acronyms which have been appearing at the bottom of e-mails she’s getting from friends. Too embarrassed to show how out of touch she is by asking them directly, she e-mails her son: “What does TTYL, ILY, BFN mean?" The son e-mails back, “Talk to you later, I love you, ‘bye for now.” To which she replies, “OK, never mind, I’ll ask your sister."
