an appeal
Orts #1 went out in May, 2001. (It was a single quote: "You can't wake a man who is pretending to sleep." Apparently a Navajo proverb.) At the time I thought the project would run its course in a few months; instead it blossomed into a full-blown obsession. And here we are.
I'm running out of steam. So here's the deal: if you enjoy or value receiving these weekly messages, kindly forward a few of them to people you know, with the suggestion that they consider signing on. (They can do so by clicking the highlighted "ORTS" button at the bottom of each message.) If I see the numbers spike up I'll be energized to keep at it. Meanwhile, the Orts project is on life-support week-to-week.
Thanks.
